Nancy McCarthy
Co-founder of Natural High Fitness Club/Personal Trainer
Nancy is a Gold ACE certified Group Fitness and Personal Trainer. With over 30 years experience in the fitness industry, Nancy inspires clients to celebrate their gift of life with lifestyle habits that contribute to good health. The founder of Get Real Fitness, Nancy has personally trained hundreds of clients of all ages and fitness levels. She also conducts group Boot Camps, Running Camps, Stretching Classes, Classes for Seniors, Spinning Classes and Fitness Vacations. Nancy has competed in over 20 marathons and has held the New England 30K title for Masters Women for nearly 10 years.
Kim Zanat Marttila
Co-founder of Natural High Fitness Club/Personal Trainer
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology from UNH, and is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Early in her career, Kim was a competitive gymnast for 10 years, overcame a serious back injury, and then became a springboard diver. She now participates in duathlons, road races, and the occasional fitness competition. On the weekends, you can find Kim downhill skiing, hiking, or training for upcoming sports events. Kim enjoys working to rehabilitate people with fitness-related injury, using strength training along with agility and balance to reach new levels of fitness. Kim has worked in the fitness arena for over 10 years. She teaches Spinning, Nordic Walking, Triathlon Training, Stott Pilates, and other Specialized Programs.
Lynn Beaulieu
Personal Trainer/SPIN Instructor
Lynn is an AAAI Certified Personal Trainer. Lynn believes her clients benefit most from a fitness programs that allow for cross training and venturing into different realms of exercise. Her emphasis is to create the ultimate fitness program based on an individuals interests and idea of fun, leading to a life long venture into health. She applies her enthusiasm for outdoor sports in all seasons, and encourages clients to “think out of the box” and venture outdoors. Some of her passions include downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, and trail running. (Lynn has return to Natural High, after the birth of her first child, Phoebe!)
Jennifer Howe
Pilates Instructor
Jennifer became an instructor in 2004 after Pilates was the only thing that eased the pain of a back injury. Having been in different fields before fitness, (financial, technology, and film production) Jennifer appreciates the simplicity of working directly with people and their bodies. Her goal is to transfer knowledge to help students gain control over their own bodies. Jennifer has had two children, and makes time to teach a class every week.
Carol Gamble
Yoga Instructor
Carol is a Kripalu Yoga teacher and a health care professional. She has over 15 years of personal practice, regular and continuous class time and study. Kripalu Yoga develops the body, mind and spirit in a compassionate and non-judgemental way, honoring the body's needs in each moment. Carol is dedicated to teaching Yoga to all levels of students, in a manner that promotes health, fitness and well being, in a supportive, nurturing environment.
Marty Silvia
SPIN Instructor/Personal Trainer
Marty is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, BST and Johnny G Certified Instructor and has been teaching SPIN for a number of years at many clubs in the northern Massachusetts and New Hampshire area. An avid outdoor cyclist, he has taught many people what a great sport cycling is - indoor or out - and likes to train people who want to challenge themselves and have fun while doing it. Marty was a Boot Camp Instructor in the Army, which refelcts in his unique training style.
Doris Roach
Yogadance Instructor
Doris is a Certified Shake Your Soul® Yogadance teacher and artist with an executive coaching and management consulting practice. She became a Shake Your Soul® Yogadance instructor as a result of her passion to empower people to dance and move joyfully and without judgment. Shake Your Soul® Yogadance provides a powerful vehicle for creative movement to access our natural rhythm, life force (our chi) and provide authentic expression of the Soul. Doris’ philosophy is "if you can move, you can groove!"
Angela Petrigini
Personal Trainer
A 2008 Graduate of UNH with a BS in Kinesiology, Angela majored in Exercise Science and is a specialist in sports training for athletes and conditioning for non-athletes. Her work experience includes designing programs for physical therapy clients, elderly, overweight and cardiac members at the Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise.
